From May 25th 2018 anyone who stores and processes personal details of people has an obligation to conform to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) replacing the Data Protection Act.

While clubs do not have to register with the Information Commissioner’s Office (OCI) they should ensure good practice to protect their members’ privacy.
