On Thursday 17th April 2025 the Annual General Meeting of the Club, took place at the Hazlemere Golf Club with 26 members being in attendance. The usual formalities were carried out including the election of the committee members for 2025-2026. For varying reasons we said goodbye to our long standing secretary Elizabeth, who will be sadly missed and our events organiser Peter. Our speaker secretary Claire has organised a full and varied programme for the coming year, which we are very much looking forward to.

As is the tradition of the Club the members agreed to donate £250 from our funds and raised through our monthly raffle, to two local High Wycombe Charities – South Bucks Talking News and Wycombe Homeless. Anthony Bull received the cheque on behalf of South Bucks Talking Newspapers, thanked the members for their generosity, adding that it will assist in ensuring those in the local area, who have sight loss are able to keep up to date with news gathered from the local newspapers.

In May members will gather at Browns of Beaconsfield for an elegant afternoon tea.
