Where: We meet at Churchgate House*, Downside Bridge Rd, Cobham, Surrey, KT11 3EJ

* at the rear of St. Andrew’s Church.

During the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic our meetings (with the speaker) are held using the “Zoom” video system with typically 30-40 attendees.

When: On the first Tuesday of the month, at 10am. Limited free car parking is available on site with a large local authority car park 400m away.

Programme: We usually start with club business, followed by coffee time. Around 11am we introduce an eminent speaker who shares his (or her) knowledge and experience with us for around 50 minutes until it is time for questions and comments from the members.

After the main meeting is concluded, many members go to a favourite local pub (walking distance) for a drink and informal lunch.

At various times of the month we have other group activities such as a Walking Group, Bridge Players, Snooker Matches, Golf Enthusiasts and, several times per year, “Outings” to places of interest and as well as motoring tours of the district.

As well as the informal monthly pub lunch after our main meeting we organise an evening Summer Party and Christmas Lunch to which our partners and friends are invited. These are in addition to the “in-house” lunches e.g. after the Autumn AGM.

We welcome new members who should be over 60years of age and have held positions of management or responsibility in commerce, academia, the professions or government/military environments and generally be available to attend monthly and weekday events.
